Message from the founder:
"I was a language teacher for many years, but I could not master speaking in Kashmiri despite being exposed to it my entire life. I was part of the generation of Kashmiris whose parents prioritized teaching us languages like English and Urdu. I tried to improve in Kashmiri on my own for years, but did not make progress until I made some Kashmiri friends online, who I was able to practice speaking with. I realized that learning Kashmiri from someone outside of the family is an easier way to improve. In July 2024, I started Vale Academy as simple platform for students to find a Kashmiri tutor. Since then, our team has continued to provide digital solutions for Kashmiri e-learning. We hire native speaking tutors who provide customized learning plans for each student. We have a booking system that handles global time zones, so a student in the US can book with a tutor in Kashmir without any confusion. Every tutor on the platform is paid for their time, and every student receives expert customer service. If you've been meaning to start improving in Kashmiri, but kept putting it off, Vale Academy is a good place to start."
